The Troops took down Ottawa and Brampton last week. Sebastien Gervais got on the board with his first in green on Friday night as the Battalion bested the Steelheads 5-1. North Bay has won three straight, sitting 12 points back of first place Barrie in the Central Division.

Who’s down:

Windsor Spitfires – down two spots to #4 this week
The Spits unloaded for nine goals on Erie before letting one get away on Saturday in Saginaw. They lost 7-3 in a showdown with the Brantford Bulldogs at home on Sunday. London Knights – down two spots to #9 this week
The Knights split the week, losing 4-1 to Brantford before defeating unranked Erie 4-1. Some pressure from Sault Ste. Marie and Peterborough down the list caused the Knights to slip a little in this week’s rankings. They’re in Sarnia and Owen Sound this week.
Kingston Frontenacs – down one spot to #11 this week
The Fronts dropped two of three on the road, beating Saginaw 6-1 before losses in Flint and Sarnia. Matthew Minchak returned to the crease from injury on Sunday, making 25 saves in a 3-1 loss.
Sudbury Wolves – down two spots to #14 this week
The Wolves had a brief run of success ahead of the holidays, but have lost their last four contests. Jean-Cristoph Lemieux has stepped in and played well for Sudbury, recording five points (3-2–5) in his first three games.
Owen Sound Attack – down two spots and off the list this week
The Bears have struggled of late, with one win in their last 11 games. Last week’s struggles came against Guelph and Kitchener. They try and get back on track at home against London and Barrie this week.
