1ST STAR: GREG MEIRELES (KITCHENER RANGERS) – 3G, 1A
Florida Panthers prospect Greg Meireles collected a season-high four points, netting a hat-trick in the process as the Kitchener Rangers defeated the Guelph Storm 6-1. Kitchener’s ninth straight victory saw Meireles score shorthanded, on the power play and at even strength to give him 24 points (9-15–24) over 21 games this season. A former first round pick of the Rangers in the 2015 OHL Priority Selection, Meireles is two points shy of 200 on his OHL career. He was Florida’s sixth round pick in the 2019 NHL Draft.

2ND STAR: RYAN McGREGOR (SARNIA STING) – 1G, 4A
Sarnia Sting captain Ryan McGregor enjoyed a career-night on Saturday, putting up a new high five points as the Sting defeated visiting Mississauga 7-6. McGregor scored his ninth goal of the season and added four assists, giving him 32 points (9-23–32) through 21 games this season. The 20-year-old from Burlington, Ont. is on a nine game point streak and has points in 15 of his last 16 contests. The former second round pick of the Sting back in 2015 is a former sixth round selection of the Toronto Maple Leafs in the 2017 NHL Draft. He was invited to rookie camp with the Columbus Blue Jackets in September.

3RD STAR: ANTHONY TABAK (SARNIA STING) – 2G, 2A
Sarnia Sting forward Anthony Tabak continued his strong play of late on Saturday, recording two goals and two assists in Sarnia’s 7-6 win over Mississauga. Tabak now has eight points over his last three games, giving him 25 points (8-17–25) over 31 contests, well beyond his 2018-19 total of 15 points (3-12–15) between Sarnia and Sudbury. The 6-foot-5 left winger was acquired by the Sting midway through last season after he was a third round pick of Sudbury in the 2017 OHL Priority Selection.
