Spitfires’ Donoso commits to University of Windsor
The University of Windsor Lancers men’s hockey program today announced that Windsor Spitfires netminder Max Donoso has committed for the 2024-25 season.
The 20-year-old hometown product will head to the University of Windsor next season after concluding an OHL career that spanned three seasons between the Spitfires and the Ottawa 67’s, playing to a 54-40-4-8 record along with a 3.33 goals-against average and .889 save percentage.
Originally selected in the fifth round (98th overall) by the 67’s in the 2019 OHL Priority Selection, the 6-foot-1, 185lb. goaltender was claimed by the Spitfires off waivers in January to close out his OHL career back at home.
