Los Angeles Kings prospect Matt Schmalz led the way with a goal and three assists while Jonah Gadjovich scored twice in a 7-1 Owen Sound Attack win over visiting Oshawa. Nick Pryce, Maksim Sushko, Petrus Palmu and Kevin Hancock also scored for the bears who outshot the Generals 35-28. Sophomore Jack Studnicka provided the lone goal for Oshawa in the loss. Riley Daniels and Michael McNiven combined to make 27 saves in the victory.

Cordell James scored twice while Kade Landry and Adrian Carbonara each had a goal and an assist as the Barrie Colts rolled over the Niagara IceDogs 6-2. The Colts went 4-for-9 on the power play, also getting goals from rookies Kyle Heitzner and Curtis Douglas. Niagara goals came from rookies Oliver Castleman and Matthew Philip.
