Ottawa 67’s Announce Hockey Operations Personnel Updates

The Ottawa 67’s have announced a series of additions and promotions within the club’s hockey operations department ahead of the 2026-27 OHL season.

Joining the organization are Hannah Davidson as Hockey Operations Assistant, Jordan Vachon as Goaltending Scout and Elijah Minden as an Analyst. Ottawa also welcomes back Andrew Mercer as Goaltending Coach and Charlie McTavish as Head of Goaltending Evaluation and Development, while several returning staff members have assumed expanded responsibilities.

“I’m thrilled to welcome Hannah, Elijah and Jordan to our organization,” said General Manager Jan Egert. “I’m equally excited to see the continued growth of our returning staff and the energy they’ll bring this season. The OHL landscape has evolved over the past few years, and it’s important that our hockey operations department continues to adapt alongside it.”

Davidson joins the 67’s following three seasons as Executive Director of the Medicine Hat Minor Hockey Association, where she oversaw an organization of more than 1,200 members while supporting player development and coach education initiatives. The Kincardine, ON native previously played four seasons at Minnesota State University, recording 54 points in 131 NCAA games while serving as an alternate captain in her senior season.

Vachon brings more than 15 years of goaltending development experience to the organization. A native of Russell, ON, he currently serves as Head Goaltending Coach with Summit Goaltending and Amped Sports Lab, where he works alongside 67’s Goaltending Coach Andrew Mercer.

Minden officially joins the club as an Analyst after contributing to Ottawa’s analytics and scouting efforts as a consultant since 2023. His responsibilities expanded to include player recruitment in 2024 while continuing to support the club’s analytics department.

The 67’s also announced several changes to their hockey operations structure. Joel Washkurak has been named Head of Player Evaluation and will oversee the club’s OHL Priority Selection scouting department, while Jay Lacroix will continue as a scout reporting directly to Egert. Jamie Henderson has assumed the role of Player Development Manager, overseeing the development and support of Ottawa’s prospects.

“Together, this collaborative group will provide our players with the resources, guidance and support they need throughout their development journey,” Egert said.
