Spitfires, Knights headline final Friday Night Faceoff matchup of regular season
Friday Night Faceoff heads to Canada Life Place to wrap up the regular season as the London Knights host the Windsor Spitfires in a late-season Midwest Division matchup. With the regular season entering its final weekend, both teams have plenty on the line as they push toward the playoffs. The pre-game show begins at 6:30pm, with puck drop scheduled for 7:00 pm. The 2026 OHL Cup Selection Show will be held this coming Friday, March 20th at 6:00pm, streaming on the OHL’s X, Facebook and YouTube accounts as 10 different teams will be identified ahead of the annual showcase that begins on Monday, March 30th at Scotiabank Pond in Toronto. Read more

OHL unveils Coaches Poll results: The OHL has announced results of its annual Coaches Poll that provides member club coaches with the opportunity to recognize the top three players in 20 different skill categories within their own conference. Read more
Brantford Bulldogs win East Division title: The Brantford Bulldogs are 2026 East Division Champions, securing their second straight Leyden Trophy and fourth in Bulldogs history following previous banners in 2025, 2022 and 2018. Read more
Division rivals Klepov, Aspinall frontrunners for OHL scoring crown: A Saginaw Spirit forward and Flint Firebirds forward are in the running for this year’s Eddie Powers Trophy, with Nikita Klepov entering Friday’s action with 94 points and two games remaining while Nathan Aspinall has 92 points with just one game remaining. Kitchener Rangers foward Jack Pridham sits third, boasting 89 points with two games left to play. If Klepov can hold on, he’d give the Spirit back-to-back OHL scoring leaders after Michael Misa earned the distinction last season.
Blackhawks prospects Vanacker, Pridham duelling for OHL goal-scoring lead: It’s become a back-and-forth battle between Brantford’s Marek Vanacker (46 goals) and Kitchener’s Jack Pridham (45 goals) for the OHL goal-scoring lead. The two Chicago Blackhawks prospects have exchanged leads in recent days, with Vanacker wrestling back the lead with a pair of goals in Wednesday’s East Division-clinching victory over Niagara. Each team has two games left on the schedule. Another Chicago prospect in Brantford’s Nick Lardis won last year’s goal-scoring title with 71 tallies.
Colts’ Aitcheson signs entry-level deal with Islanders, sets new Colts franchise record for points by a blueliner: Kashawn Aitcheson recorded his 70th point of the season last Sunday, eclipsing a club record that has stood since 1997-98. He also signed a three-year entry-level NHL contract with the New York Islanders. Read more
Battalion’s Bronson Ride signs with Golden Knights: Veteran North Bay Battalion blueliner Bronson Ride has signed a three-year entry-level NHL contract with the Vegas Golden Knights. The 6-foot-7, 215Ib. defenceman inked as an undrafted free agent, having produced 21 points (4-17–21) over 58 games. Read more

Colts sign defenceman Alexander Kert: The Barrie Colts have signed 18-year-old defenceman Alexander Kert to an OHL Scholarship and Development Agreement. The 6-foot-2, 220Ib. free agent rearguard from Markham, ON, has spent the season at Choate Rosemary Hall, recording eight points (1-7–8) in 26 games. Read more
