OHL Post-Secondary Weekly Round-Up – Oct. 30th, 2025
This season, 241 OHL alumni are suiting up across U SPORTS and NCAA hockey programs. Each week, we’ll highlight standout performances and rising storylines from both leagues. Here’s a look at the top moments from the past week of action.

Ben McFarlane Plays Hero
Captain Ben McFarlane (Guelph) of the UPEI Panthers delivered clutch performances all weekend, scoring the game-winning goal in both contests. On Friday, he netted the 5–4 overtime winner against Acadia, then followed it up with the decisive tally late in the third period to secure a 3–2 victory over Saint Mary’s.
Keegan McMullen Nets Hattrick
Keegan McMullen (Peterborough, Soo) earned Athlete of the Week honours for the Windsor Lancers after recording a hat trick in their 7–1 win over Waterloo. He now leads the OUA in goals with seven.
Kai Edmonds Continues to Shine for TMU
Kai Edmonds (Barrie, Mississauga) stood tall in net for the TMU Bold, posting a 29-save shutout in a 3–0 win. He currently ranks third in the league in win percentage (.800) and fourth in GAA (1.82). His stellar play also earned him Athlete of the Week recognition for the second straight week.
Luca D’Amato Leads Plus/Minus
Luca D’Amato (Flint, Oshawa) picked up four assists over two games with the UNB Reds, helping them split their weekend series. He now leads the AUS in plus/minus with a +9 rating.

Jack Ivankovic Earns Shutout
Freshman standout Jack Ivankovic (Brampton) is quickly making his mark in the NCAA with a 7–1–0 record, a 1.38 GAA and a .937 SV%. His highlight of the week came in a statement performance against Western Michigan, where he turned aside 32 shots for a shutout against the nation’s No. 2–ranked team.
Matteo Drobac Remains Undefeated
Miami’s crease has belonged entirely to Matteo Drobac (Brantford), and he’s thriving under the spotlight. The junior netminder has started all six games for the RedHawks, posting a flawless 6–0–0 record with a 2.64 GAA and .913 save percentage. His perfect start ties him for first in the NCAA in winning percentage (1.000) and has earned him another nomination for NCHC Goaltender of the Week.
Dalyn Wakely Dishes Out Key Assists
Dayln Wakely (North Bay, Barrie) was recognized as one of Hockey East’s weekly top performers after a strong showing against Mercyhurst. Over the two-game sweep, he tallied three assists, one in Friday’s opener and two more in Saturday’s 4–3 victory. His second helper of the night set up the game-winning goal in the third period, sealing the sweep for UMass Lowell.
