Knights sign defenceman Jackson Marthaler

LONDON, ON – The London Knights have announced the signing of defenceman Jackson Marthaler to an OHL Scholarship and Development Agreement.

Marthaler was drafted by the Knights in the fourth round (76th overall) of the 2026 OHL Priority Selection and spent the majority of the 2025-26 season with the U.S. National U18 Team, where he appeared in 54 regular-season games and recorded four assists. The Superior, Wisconsin native also suited up for the USNTDP Juniors of the USHL, where he also tallied four assists and is committed to the University of Minnesota-Duluth for the 2027-28 season.

The signing marks the next step in Marthaler’s development as he joins the Knights organization ahead of the upcoming season.
