Nathan Allensen Scores Twice
Captain Nathan Allensen (Barrie) earned Guelph Gryphon’s Athlete of the Week honours after scoring two power play goals in their 5–3 victory over the Western Mustangs on Saturday.
Kai Edmonds Extends Win Streak
Kai Edmonds (Barrie, Mississauga) backstopped the Bold to weekend wins over Lakehead and York, turning aside 19 and 22 shots while allowing just one goal in each contest. The pair of victories stretched his personal win streak to four games.
Marc Boudreau Named Acadia & AUS Athlete of the Week
Marc Boudreau (Soo, Sudbury, Mississauga) delivered back-to-back three-point performances, netting the game-winner with two assists in Wednesday’s home triumph over Dalhousie, then adding another goal and two helpers in Saturday’s road win at STFX. He closed the week with a team-best +6 rating, sparking the Axemen offence and contributing across all areas of play.
Will Portokalis Tops OUA Scoring
Will Portokalis (Mississauga, Owen Sound) is currently tied for the OUA scoring lead with 22 points (9G, 13A) through 14 regular-season games.

Blake Montgomery Named Big Ten Second Star
Blake Montgomery (London) tallied a team‑high three points to power Wisconsin to back‑to‑back wins over No. 1 Michigan State. On Friday, he erased a 2-0 deficit with Wisconsin’s second goal and set up the go‑ahead marker with a primary assist. He followed up on Saturday with a power‑play strike for his seventh goal in nine games. It marks his second Star Award of the season (he was First Star on Nov. 4) and is one of just four Badgers to earn the honour this year.
