OHL Notebook: Nov. 11th, 2025
Here’s a look at some of the top storylines from a busy weekend across the league:
Brantford Remain Perfect in Regulation
The CHL’s top-ranked Brantford Bulldogs continue to be the only team without a regulation loss, entering the week at 15–0–3–1. They lead the league in both power-play efficiency and total goals scored. Jake O’Brien tops the OHL in points with 37 points and Marek Vanacker leads in goals with 17. Head coach Jay McKee also earned his 300th OHL coaching win with the Bulldogs’ victory on Sunday afternoon.
Joey Costanzo Earns Third Shutout of the Year
Overage goaltender, Joey Costanzo earned his third shutout of the season with a 20-save performance in a 3–0 victory over the Kingston Frontenacs on Thursday. He now sits atop the OHL leaderboard with a 1.81 GAA. The Spitfires followed up with a 6–3 win over Brampton on Saturday, extending their win streak to three and improving to a West Division-leading 15–3–1–1 record.

Soo Greyhounds Peppering the Shot Clock
The Soo Greyhounds dominated the shot clock this week, outshooting their opponents by a decisive 103–59 margin. Yet the offensive pressure didn’t translate into results, as they managed only eight goals and secured just one win across three games. Despite the scoreboard finals, the Greyhounds generated quality looks, rang iron more than once, and kept opposing goalies busy from start to finish. If they can carry that relentless pace forward, the bounces are bound to come, and with Windsor still within reach atop the West Division, the Greyhounds’ relentless attack could be the spark that pushes them higher in the standings.
