David Egorov Records Shutout
Brantford Bulldogs netminder David Egorov turned aside all 39 shots he faced in a 2-0 win over the defending Memorial Cup champion London Knights. Brantford killed all six London power plays despite being outshot 39-22. The loss marked London’s first shutout defeat since Mar. 12, 2023, in North Bay. The Bulldogs remain atop the OHL standings at 23-3-4-1, even with seven players away at World Junior camps.

Sarnia Posts Perfect Weekend
The Sarnia Sting went 3-0 on the weekend, earning their first road victory since Oct. 18. They beat the Guelph Storm twice and edged the Flint Firebirds in overtime on Saturday. Their strong showing pushed them back into this week’s power rankings for the first time since Nov. 10.

Walton Nets Teddy Bear Toss Goal on Penalty Shot
Sudbury’s Teddy Bear Toss game delivered a memorable moment as Kieron Walton triggered the celebration with a penalty-shot goal. The Wolves erased a 6-2 deficit in the second period and rallied for a 7–6 shootout win against the Attack. With four points collected on the weekend, Sudbury returned to the power rankings for the first time since Oct. 27.

Colts Sit Atop Central Division
The Barrie Colts lead the Central Division with an 18-8-1-4 record and are riding a five‑game winning streak. Goaltender Ben Hrebik tops the OHL with a .930 save percentage. Scoring leader Cole Beaudoin and goal leader Kashawn Aitcheson are currently away at Canada’s World Junior camp.

Soo Greyhounds Riding Winning Streak
The Soo Greyhounds have won five straight after a 3-0 weekend. Cogeco OHL Player of the Week Christopher Brown powered the surge with seven points (2-5–7) across three games.

Flint Firebirds Staying Hot
Flint earned five of six possible points last week, defeating Guelph and Kitchener before falling 3-2 in a shootout to Sarnia. Forward Alex Kostov enters the week on a 16‑game point streak (12-15–27), while overage netminder Mason Vaccari claimed OHL Goaltender of the Week honours for the second time this season after going 2-0 with a 1.00 GAA and .967 save percentage. The Firebirds sit three points behind Brantford for first overall, and their 22 wins trail co-leaders Ottawa and Brantford (23) by just one.

Kingston Back on Track
The Kingston Frontenacs strung together three straight wins, including two against the Oshawa Generals and a 4–3 victory over the fourth‑ranked Windsor Spitfires. Goaltender Matthew Minchak capped the week with a 34‑save shutout, his first in the OHL, while also recording an assist. Robin Kuzma earned OHL Rookie of the Week honours with five points (2-3–5) on the week.

Ottawa Climbing the Standings
A perfect 2-0-0-0 week and a four‑game winning streak have pulled the Ottawa 67’s within three points of Brantford for first in the Eastern Conference. Ottawa and Brantford now share the league lead with 23 wins. The 67’s continue to set the defensive benchmark, allowing just 2.37 goals per game – the best mark in the OHL and across the CHL. Ottawa has won eight of its last 10 and has only two losses in 13 home games.
