The L.A. Kings are stacking their royal court with young talent. Today, we look at their prospects who are ready to rule the ice.
Henry Brzustewicz (D) – London Knights (2023-25)
Selected: 1st Round, 31st Overall (2025)
OHL Career Stats: 119 GP, 12 G, 36 A, 48 PTS, +31
Age: 18
A physically imposing blueliner, Henry Brzustewicz was selected 31st overall by the Kings in the 2025 NHL Draft. The Washington, MI native brings a strong combination of size, strength, and mobility to the back end. He tallied 42 points (10-32–42) and 77 penalty minutes during the 2024–25 season, playing a pivotal role in the London Knights’ championship win in the Memorial Cup.
Jimmy Lombardi (C) – Flint Firebirds (2023-25)
Selected: 4th Round, 125th Overall (2025)
OHL Career Stats: 125 GP, 20 G, 45 A, 65 PTS, -15
Age: 18
High-compete, two-way centre Jimmy Lombardi was selected 125th overall in 2025 following a breakout second OHL season in Flint, where he registered 45 points (13-32–45) in 63 games. Lombardi has committed to the University of Michigan for the 2026–27 NCAA season.
Jan Chovan (C/RW) – Sudbury Wolves (2025-26)
Selected: 6th Round, 184th Overall (2025)
OHL Career Stats: N/A
Age: 18
Jan Chovan, a 2024 first-round CHL Import Draft selection, has recently signed with the Sudbury Wolves for the upcoming 2025-26 season. He spent last year at the club level with Tappara U20 in Finland, where he served as an assistant captain and posted 23 points (11-12–23). Chovan was selected for Slovakia’s IIHF World Junior Championship roster, scoring a game-winning goal against Switzerland in the preliminary round.
Kristian Epperson (LW) – Saginaw Spirit (2024-25)
Selected: 3rd Round, 88th Overall (2025)
OHL Career Stats: 58 GP, 27 G, 53 A, 80 PTS, +45
Age: 19
After going undrafted in 2024, Kristian Epperson turned heads in his second year of eligibility, producing 80 points (27–53–80) in 58 games with Saginaw. The Mequon, WI native finished fourth in team scoring and has committed to the University of Denver for the 2025-26 NCAA season.
Liam Greentree (LW) – Windsor Spitfires (2022-25)
Selected: 1st Round, 26th Overall (2024)
OHL Career Stats: 189 GP, 110 G, 144 A, 254 PTS, +42
Age: 19
Windsor captain Liam Greentree dominated the 2024–25 campaign with 119 points (49-70–119), finishing third in league scoring. His efforts earned him a spot on the OHL First All-Star Team and the OHL Commitment Award for Captain of the Year.
Carter George (G) – Owen Sound Attack (2022-25)
Selected: 2nd Round, 57th Overall (2024)
OHL Career Stats: 113 GP, 3.24 GAA, .909 SV%, 47-46-9-6
Age: 19
Carter George put together a stellar 2024-25 season, earning runner-up for OHL Goaltender of the Year. He led the league in shots faced and saves, scored a rare goalie goal in November, and represented Canada at the World Juniors. He made his AHL debut with the Ontario Reign, posting a 0.50 GAA and .984 SV% with one shutout and was later called up as a Black Ace for the Kings during the playoffs.
Jared Woolley (D) – London Knights (2023-25)
Selected: 6th Round, 164th Overall (2024)
OHL Career Stats: 105 GP, 12 G, 21 A, 33 PTS, +54
Age: 19
A standout on London’s Memorial Cup-winning squad, Jared Woolley more than tripled his offensive output in 2024-25 with 28 points (9-19–28) over 68 games. The 6-foot-5 blueliner was named the Knights’ Most Improved Player by team management.
Kaleb Lawrence (C) – Owen Sound Attack (2019-23), Ottawa 67’s (2023-24), London Knights (2023-24)
Selected: 7th Round, 215th Overall (2022)
OHL Career Stats: 149 GP, 41 G, 41 A, 82 PTS, +18
Age: 22
Kaleb Lawrence split the 2024–25 season between the ECHL’s Greenville Swamp Rabbits and the AHL’s Ontario Reign, eventually securing a full-time role with the Reign. He recorded 8 points (6–2–8) and 40 penalty minutes in 25 AHL games.
Francesco Pinelli (C) – Kitchener Rangers (2019-22)
Selected: 2nd Round, 42nd Overall (2021)
OHL Career Stats: 174 GP, 81 G, 110 A, 191 PTS, +39
Age: 22
Now entering the final year of his entry-level deal, Francesco Pinelli posted 29 points (15–14–29) in 70 games. He added two short-handed goals, second on the team, and earned a late-season recall as a Black Ace with the Kings.
Martin Chromiak (LW) – Kingston Frontenacs (2019-22)
Selected: 5th Round, 128th Overall (2020)
OHL Career Stats: 88 GP, 55 G, 64 A, 119 PTS, +15
Age: 23
Recently signing a one-year, two-way contract extension with the Kings organization, Martin Chromiak had a career-high 39 points (18-21–39) in 69 games during the regular season with the Reign. He also chipped in one goal in two Calder Cup playoff contests.
