OHL Announces Disciplinary Action
Game of Saturday, October 14, 2023 – Brantford at Peterborough
Toronto, Ont. – The Ontario Hockey League today announced the results of a further review of incidents which took place during the regular season game played in Peterborough on Saturday, October 14, 2023, involving the Petes and the visiting Brantford Bulldogs Hockey Club.
The incidents reviewed were a series of altercations which took place following the conclusion of the game.
Based on such review, it is the position of the League that Peterborough Petes player Konnor Smith shall be suspended for a total of four (4) games while the Peterborough Petes Hockey Club shall be fined a total of $2,000.00.
Additionally, the League has ruled that Brantford Bulldogs players Lucas Moore and Noah Roberts shall each be suspended for a total of two (2) games while the Brantford Bulldogs Hockey Club shall be fined a total of $1,000.00.
In a separate incident earlier in the game of October 14, 2023, Brantford Bulldogs defenceman Cedricson Okitundu was assessed a match penalty for cross-checking. Okitundu shall be suspended for a total of three (3) games as a result of his actions.
