- Sarnia trailed 3-0 before rallying to defeat Windsor in overtime on a winner in the goalmouth from Tyson Doucette
- Newcomer Kaeden Johnston was great in his Sting debut, recording two goals and an assist
- Beckham Edwards scored his first OHL goal in his debut, joining Zach Filak on the scoresheet
- Liam Greentree had a goal and two helpers in his return to the Spitfires lineup
- Nick Surzycia made 29 saves for the win as the Sting won their home opener in front of 3,955

- Columbus Blue Jackets prospect Luca Marrelli scored the deciding goal with 7:19 remaining in the third period
- Ethan Toms and Owen Griffin also tallied for the Gens in front of a 34-save performance by goaltender Jacob Oster
- Matthew Soto and Jacob Battaglia scored Kingston markers as the Fronts outshot the Generals 36-22

- Noah Erliden carried a shutout into the third period as Erie bested Kitchener at The Aud

- Newcomers Evan Konyen and Nolan Collins each scored twice, with Collins finishing the night with four points (2-2–4)
- Nathan Aspinall, Artem Frolov and Kaden Pitre also scored for Flint while Chris Thibodeau had three helpers
- Edmonton Oilers prospect William Nicholl finished the night with three points (2-1–3)
- A sold out crowd of 9,061 was on hand in London as the Knights raised their OHL Championship banner pre-game
North Bay Battalion 4 vs. Peterborough Petes 0
- Mike McIvor posted a 36-save shutout as the Battalion raised their Central Division banner and beat the Petes 4-0
- Andrew LeBlanc, Wyatt Kennedy, Reyth Smith and Ethan Procyszyn were North Bay scorers
- Peterborough’s Zach Bowen made 45 saves in the loss

- Owen Flores stole the show with 48 saves as the IceDogs edged Ottawa on the road

- The Storm led 5-1 midway through the second period before Owen Sound made a game of things

- Attack newcomer Pierce Mbuyi also scored in his OHL debut

- It was all Trout in their home opener as newly minted captain Porter Martone led the way with a goal and three assists
- Fellow 2025 NHL Draft prospect Jack Ivankovic was perfect, stopping all 21 shots he faced
- Luke Misa had a goal and an assist while Jack Van Volsen and Lucas Karmiris each had two helpers
- A crowd of 2,277 took in the first OHL game at CAA Centre since 2013

Saginaw Spirit 6 vs. Soo Greyhounds 4
- Michael Misa scored a first period hat-trick and added an assist as Saginaw rebounded from Wednesday’s loss
- Kristian Epperson scored his first in a Spirit uniform while Carson Harmer and Will Bishop also found the scoresheet
- Trailing 4-0, the Greyhounds made a game of things with goals from David Holub, Brady Smith, Carson Andrew and Brady Martin
- Andrew Oke made 27 saves for the win while Landon Miller’s night lasted just 20 minutes before Charlie Schenkel went the rest of the way for the Greyhounds
