Former Frontenac Savard commits to TMU for 2024-25
The Toronto Metropolitan Bold men’s hockey program has added former Kingston Frontenacs Tyler Savard to their roster for the 2024-25 season.
Selected by the Soo Greyhounds in the 11th round (220th overall) of the 2019 OHL Priority Selection, the 6-foot-2, 201lb. Peterborough, Ont. native played four seasons in the OHL, registering 84 points (27-57-84) over 122 regular season games between the Frontenacs, Greyhounds and Barrie Colts.
Appearing in 17 OHL games with Kingston this season, Savard also played 19 games with the GOJHL’s Caledonia Corvairs, tallying eight goals, 23 assists, and 31 points.

Savard joins us after putting up 88 points in 122 career OHL games across three different teams. He then finished off last season with Caledonia in the GOJHL where he put up 31 points in 19 games.
