Billy Moskal Commits to Knights
London, ON – London Knights General Manager Basil McRae announced today that the London Knights are proud to have signed their second round selection (40th overall) from the 2016 OHL Priority Selection, Billy Moskal, to an Ontario Hockey League Standard Player’s Agreement.
Moskal, a Sudbury, Ontario native, played the majority of his 2015-2016 season with the Sudbury Minor Midget Wolves of the Great North Midget League (GNML). Moskal netted 18 goals and a total of 36 points in a three-way tie for the team scoring lead.
Come playoff time, Moskal joined the Sudbury Nickel Capital Wolves, winning a GNML Championship with them as he recorded a goal and three assists for four points over six playoff contests.
LONDON KNIGHTS 2016 OHL PRIORITY SELECTION PROSPECTS:
Moskal competed in the 2016 OHL Cup with Team NOHA, recording three assists over four games. He also represented the NOHA in the OHL Gold Cup last month, finishing tied for the team scoring lead with four assists over five games.
