The forecast in Colorado calls for a flurry of prospects. Today, let’s see who’s making the biggest impact in the Avalanche system.
Christian Humphreys (C) – Kitchener Rangers (2024-25)
Selected: 7th Round, 215th Overall (2024)
OHL Career Stats: 28 GP, 11 G, 22 A, 33 PTS, +8
Age: 19
A mid-season addition to the Rangers in January 2025, Christian Humphreys joined the club after departing the USHL. Despite the late start, he led the team in points-per-game (1.18), racking up 33 points (11-22–33) in just 28 games. Humphreys has opted to forgo his NCAA eligibility and will return to Kitchener for the 2025-26 season.
Oskar Olausson (RW) – Barrie Colts (2021-22), Oshawa Generals (2021-22)
Selected: 1st Round, 28th Overall (2021)
OHL Career Stats: 55 GP, 26 G, 23 A, 49 PTS, -1
Age: 22
Oskar Olausson spent the 2024-25 season in the AHL with the Colorado Eagles, posting 26 points (11-15–26) over 61 regular-season games and adding three assists in seven playoff appearances. He also earned a brief call-up to the NHL, suiting up for two games with the Avalanche.
Jean-Luc Foudy (C) – Windsor Spitfires (2018-20)
Selected: 3rd Round, 75th Overall (2020)
OHL Career Stats: 122 GP, 23 G, 69 A, 92 PTS, -26
Age: 23
Jean-Luc Foudy played the 2024-25 campaign with the Colorado Eagles, contributing 19 points (5-14–19) in 48 games and adding a goal in the playoffs. Following this season, Foudy became a restricted free agent.
