The Peterborough Petes edged out the Ottawa 67’s 4-3 in a thrilling shootout victory. After a 1-1 tie in the first, the Petes took control with two second-period goals from Colin Fitzgerald and Aiden Young, giving them a 3-1 lead. Quinton Pagé’s opener and Will Gerrior’s buzzer-beater kept the 67’s in it. In the shootout, Zach Bowen stopped all three Ottawa shooters, while Caden Taylor’s beautiful goal secured the win. Peterborough has now won five of their last seven games.
