Wolves Roster Down to 32
The Sudbury Wolves reduced their roster down to 32 players as the team prepares for the next phase of the 2011 Try-out Camp. 32 hopefuls including 18 returning players will continue into day 3 of training camp competition at the Sudbury Arena. Wolves’ Head Coach Trent Cull is pleased with the results so far.
“This year’s camp is certainly a notch faster and more intense than last year’s camp” notes Cull. “The players competed hard and there was lots of physical contact. We have some banged-up bodies as 57 players came to play and they all gave it their best shot.”
Cull added that there have been some pleasant surprises: “I was really impressed with our newly drafted players. The 1995 age group really battled hard against the older layers at camp. I was also pleased with our returning players as well as the free agents that we invited to camp. We still have a number of difficult decisions to make
and the upcoming exhibition games will assist us in making our final decisions.”
