Wolves Return Home
The Sudbury Wolves return home after a successful thanksgiving weekend road trip finishing with a perfect record of 3-0. The Wolves were led by the impressive play of Josh Leivo who netted six goals and a plus 5 rating in three contests this weekend. Leivo’s strong effort earned him OHL player of the week honours.
On Friday the Wolves are back in action at the Sudbury Arena when they face-off against the Saginaw Sprit. The Wolves will be looking to avenge their 5-0 loss on September 27th at the Dow Event Center to the hands of the Spirit. Heading into the weekend the Spirit’s record sits at 2-3-2-0. Saginaw comes into the game boasting four NHL Draft picks on their current roster including VINCENT TROCHECK (2011 3rd Round, Florida), JUSTIN KEA 2012 ( 3rd Round, Buffalo), JAKE PATTERSON ( 3rd Round, Detroit), and GARRET ROSS ( 5th Round, Chicago). TROCHECK currently sits tenth in league scoring having put up 10 points in 7 games this season. TROCHECK lead the Spirit last season amassing an impressive 85 points in 65 games.
