Wolves Ranked 3rd
The HOCKEY NEWS and their panel of experts have rated the Sudbury Wolves as the third best team in the Eastern Conference to start the season. The HOCKEY NEWS believes that Barrie will be the best team in the East and ranks the Colts second-best in the OHL season behind the London Knights. The Colts are led by 17 year old defenceman AARON EKBLAD who many believe will be drafted 1st overall in the 2014 NHL Draft.
The Wolves are ranked just behind the Kingston Frontenacs who the HOCKEY NEWS believes will be one of the most improved teams in the OHL this season. The Frontenacs will be led by 17 year old sophomores ROLAND MCKEOWN, SPENCER WATSON and SAM BENNETT. The Frontenacs also have 16 year old star forward LAWSON CROUSE who many believe will be one of the very best young forwards in the league this season.
