Wolves Hit the Road this Weekend!
The Wolves hit the road this weekend for their final swing through the Western Conference as they will make stops in Saginaw, Plymouth and Windsor. It will be yet another 3 games in 3 day weekend for the locals. The Wolves will be looking to get back in the win column as the Wolves hope to welcome the return of some of their injured players that remain on the sidelines. Wolves’ fans can follow the Wolves on the road with Stew Kernan on KFM 95.5 – the official voice of the Wolves.
The Wolves will return home Friday, March 2nd when the KITCHENER RANGERS make their one and only appearance at the Sudbury Arena. Game time is 7:35pm. It will be a double-header weekend on home ice as the Wolves host the PETERBOROUGH PETES on Saturday, March 3rd at the Sudbury Arena. Game time is 7:30.
The March 2nd Friday night game is sponsored by CGC Sheetrock . CGC Sheetrock will be rewarding lucky fans throughout the game with prizes. The Rangers line-up also features one of the most skilled defencemen in the OHL in RYAN MURPHY – a 1st round draft pick of the Carolina Hurricanes.
Friday’s game will also mark the beginning of balloting for the next Wolves player to be inducted into the Laking Toyota / Wolves Wall of Fame. Blackberry will also be on hand and fans are encouraged to visit their Booth in the lower lobby to see the latest Blackberry products.
The Wolves will return to the ice Saturday night when they host the Peterborough Petes for the final time this season. This game will be sponsored by Rewind 103.9, who will be giving away Bryan Adams tickets in the Rewind 103.9 shoot out. Puck Drop is 7:05 pm.
Saturday’s game will also feature the famous “Jerseys off their back Night”. The Wolves will be wearing their 40th Anniversary white and green jerseys for the final time and fans can bid on their favourite player’s jersey throughout the game. All proceeds will be donated to the Sudbury Wolves Community Club in support of local charities and educational scholarships.
