Wolves Finalize Opening Day Roster

The Sudbury Wolves announce Wednesday that the team has finalized the opening day roster with 24 players to kick off the 2017-18 season.  With the addition of Cole Candella earlier in the day, the team also announces the re-assignment of goaltender David Bowen to the Stouffville Spirit of the OJHL.   In addition to this reassignment, over-age defenseman Zach Wilkie and 2nd year forward Owen Lane both cleared waivers throughout the league and were released.

The team wishes to thank both Zach and Owen for their contribution to the team and the organization during their time in Greater Sudbury.   Fans will have their first look at the opening day final 24 player roster who will be in action this weekend when the Wolves open-up their 2017/18 regular season against the Oshawa Generals at 7:05pm and follow that game with a 2pm start on Sunday against Highway 17 east rival, the North Bay Battalion.
