WOLVES BEGIN FINAL STRETCH
The Sudbury Wolves will begin a nasty stretch of games which see the
locals play only two home games in the final nine games of the season.
The Wolves begin the final 9 game stretch and open the month of March
tomorrow night at 7:30 when they host the SOO GREYHOUNDS for the final
time this season. The Wolves have only managed one win in five tries
against their northern archrivals.
The Sudbury Wolves will be making a special presentation to team captain
Marcus Foligno and recognize the 19-year-old star forward for his on and
off-ice contributions to the Sudbury Wolves and the community of Sudbury
for the past four years. BELL will also sponsor the game with the great
prizes for lucky fans.
After Tuesday’s game the Wolves will play seven of the last eight games on
the road. The Wolves’ final home game is Friday, March 11th when they
host the BELLEVILLE BULLS at 7:30. The Wolves will recognize their
graduating overage players prior to the start of Friday’s game.
The Wolves closed the month of February with a record of 7 wins and 5
losses. Since the beginning of 2011, the Wolves have a record of 14 wins,
8 losses and 1 overtime loss for a winning percentage of .630.
The Wolves expect the return of Wolves’ captain MARCUS FOLIGNO to their
line-up this week. Overage forward MIKE LOMAS is expected to return next
week and MICHAEL MACDONALD is expected to return to the Wolves line-up in
two weeks.
