MOLSON CANADIAN 3-STAR AWARD

Sophomore forward NATHAN PANCEL is the Wolves’ winner of the MOLSON CANADIAN 3-STAR AWARD for the month of November. PANCEL was named the game’s 1^st star on two occasions and was also named as the game’s 2^nd star twice. The Orleans, Ontario native has scored 8 goals and has added 6 assists for 14 points in 13 games. PANCEL’S impressive month of action saw him net his first OHL hat trick back on November 30^th against the Owen Sound Attack. The Sudbury Wolves are lucky to have a promising young star like Nathan leading the offensive attack this season!

INDUSTRIAL ALLIANCE PLAYER OF THE MONTH

Sudbury Wolves rookie forward DOMINIK KAHUN is the Wolves’ INDUSTRIAL ALLIANCE PLAYER OF THE MONTH.KAHUN, 17, enjoyed a fantastic month of November scoring 10 points in 13 games. KAHUN has broke onto the OHL scene in a big way this season and currently sits third in rookie scoring with 25 points. The rookie forward has settled in nicely in a top six role with the team and looks to be a go to player on offense down the stretch. The Wolves are extremely proud of rookie forward DOMINIK KAHUN and look forward to watching him grow over the course of the season.

CAMPBELLS SCHOLASTIC PLAYER OF THE MONTH

Sudbury Wolves’ 16-year-old defenceman CONOR CUMMINS is the winner of the CAMPBELLS SCHOLASTIC PLAYER OF THE MONTH AWARD. The Sudbury native is concluding his secondary school education at Lasalle Secondary School this season and has accumulated a 78.7 average in university courses including: English and Accounting. CUMMINS is also completing a co-op class, which will provide the Wolves 2012 1^st Round Pick with two credits this semester. The Sudbury Wolves join Bill Nurmi Jr. and CAMPBELLS in recognizing the outstanding accomplishments in the classroom of one of the Wolves’ rookie defenceman – CONOR CUMMINS.

TRAVELODGE HOTEL SUDBURY COMMUNITY PLAYER OF THE MONTH

JUSTIN SEFTON is the winner of the TRAVELODGE HOTEL SUDBURY COMMUNITY PLAYER OF THE MONTH AWARD.   The Thunder Bay native has been a rock on the Wolves blue line this season and is paired with Frank Corrado on the teams number one defensive unit. JUSTIN is one of the Wolves’ community driven players, as he loves to meet with young fans and participate in team community functions. In the month of November SEFTON attended several schools in the Sudbury area to meet with kids in the community. The Sudbury Wolves are truly grateful to have JUSTIN SEFTON representing the organization on and off the ice this season.

Award presentations will begin this weekend as the Sudbury Wolves will play a weekend double-header on home ice including Friday night against the newly named MISSISSAUGA STEELHEADS (7:35) and again on a Sudbury Saturday night against the PETERBOROUGH PETES (7:05).
