CORRADO is also tied for 4th in the OHL in short-handed assists with two.
Wolves’ rookie NATHAN PANCEL is tied for 19th in the league among ROOKIE SCORING with 13 points in 27 games.
The Ottawa native also has a solid +7 plus/minus rating, which places him in a tie for 9th place among league rookies.
JOHAN MATTSSON currently sits in 9th place in the league among goaltenders in wins with 12 wins so far this season.
MATTSSON’S save percentage of .907 places the Swedish netminder in 14th place in the league.
The sleeper performance is the work of goaltender JOEL VIENNEAU. The Hearst, Ontario native is just 95 minutes shy of having his numbers recorded in the league’s top goaltender category. The 6’4″, 190 lb, 19 year old has a sparkling goals against average of 1.91 which would place him in 1st place overall just ahead of Malcolm Subban of the Belleville Bulls.
VIENNEAU has the 3rd best save % in the league at .933. It will prove interesting to see where VIENNEAU’s numbers shake-out once he achieves the minutes required to be compared with the league leaders. VIENNEAU’s OHL debut has caught the attention of NHL scouts who are looking at the 19 year old as a potential free agent invite and 2012 draft prospect.
