Wolves Above .500
The Sudbury Wolves completed the month of October on a winning note and
went 7-2-1 for a .750 winning percentage for the month of October. The
Wolves actually earned more points on the road with a 4-0-1 road record in
October. The Wolves were 3-2 on home ice for the month. The Wolves
record now stands at 7-6-1 for 15 points and leaves them tied with the
Barrie Colts for 7th place in the Eastern Conference.
The Wolves trail the OSHAWA GENERALS and NIAGARA ICEDOGS by one point, the
PETERBOROUGH PETES by two points and the 3rd place BRAMPTON BATTALION by
three points. There are 6 teams in the Eastern Conference with 7 wins a
piece. The Wolves and the Ottawa 67s are the hottest teams in the
Eastern Conference with 7-2-1 records in their last 10 games.
The Wolves have a big weekend coming up as they would like to snap a
2-game losing streak on home ice on Friday night when they host DAN MAGGIO
and the OSHAWA GENERALS. The Wolves will play another big game on
Saturday night at the arena when they host MATT PEUMPLE and the
PETERBOROUGH PETES at 7:00 pm. Two Sudbury victories could catapult the
Wolves into the top four positions in the Eastern Conference for the first
time this season.
