Buffalo Sabres prospect Ukko-Pekka Luukkonen notched his first OHL shutout, stopping all 29 shots he faced in a 2-0 win over visiting Kingston. Sudbury goals came from Macauley Carson (3) and David Levin (5) just 30 seconds apart in the first period and that’s all the offence they’d need. Kingston’s Brendan Bonello earned third star honours with a 26-save performance as the Fronts fell to 3-8-1-0 with their third straight loss. Sudbury improves to 8-4-0-0.
