Round 2 Schedule Set
The Sudbury Wolves will open their Eastern Conference semi-final series against the Mississauga St. Michael’s Majors on Friday, April 8th at the Hershey Centre in Mississauga. The two Central Division rivals will then travel back-and-forth up and down Highway 69/400 to complete the best-of-seven game series.
Sudbury will play on home-ice on the following dates and times and with the following GAME TICKET #’s:
HOME GAME #3 – Sunday, April 10th 7:05 pm
HOME GAME #4 – Wednesday, April 13th 7:35 pm
HOME GAME #5 – Sunday, April 17th 7:05 pm (if necessary)

The Mississauga St. Michael’s Majors line-up is filled with veteran players including Memorial Cup Champions JUSTIN SHUGG and MARC CANTIN,acquired from the Windsor Spitfires. The Majors have no less than 9 players drafted/signed by NHL teams including:

MARC CANTIN – Boston Bruins
CASEY CIZIKIS – N.Y. Islanders
BRETT FLEMMING – Washington Caps
ROB FLICK – Chicago Black Hawks
MAXIM KITSYN – L.A. Kings

DEVANTE SMITH-PELLY – Anaheim Ducks
GREGG SUTCH – Buffalo Sabres
The Wolves have three players committed to NHL teams including: MARCUS FOLIGNO (Buffalo), MICHAEL SGARBOSSA (San Jose) and ERIC O’DELL (Atlanta).
The Majors line-up includes 14 forwards and 5 defencemen aged 18 years and older. In contrast, the Wolves’ line-up is much younger with 6forwards and 3 defencemen aged 18 years of age and older.
The Majors have been ranked as one of the top-three teams in the country since the start of the season. The Majors are also the host team of the 2011 Memorial Cup Championship to be hosted in Mississauga in May.
