Kahun & Cummins Returns
The Sudbury Wolves would like to congratulate 17-year-old forward DOMINIK KAHUN on a successful performance at the WORLD JUNIOR CHAMPIONSHIPS held in Ufa, Russia.
The Sudbury Wolves forward recorded 3 points in six games including an assist in TEAM GERMANY’s important 5-2 victory over TEAM LATVIA in the relegation round.
The win insures that TEAM GERMANY will return to Pool ‘A’ next season and will compete for a World Championship once again. KAHUN finished third in team scoring behind forwards LEON DRAISAITL (6 points) and TOBIAS REIDER (5 points).
CONOR CUMMINS, 16, has returned from the WORLD U17 CHALLENGE CUP held in Quebec. The 6’2” Wolves’ defenceman helped lead TEAM ONTARIO to a 2-2-1 win-loss record in the international event. CUMMINS rejoined his Sudbury teammates in Mississauga for Sunday’s matinee against the Steelheads.
Wolves’ fans are encouraged to come out and join the Wolves’ organization in recognizing DOMINIK KAHUN and CONOR CUMMINS prior to the start of Friday’s game when the Wolves host the Mississauga Steelheads at the Sudbury Arena at 7:35.
