Injuries Mount
The Sudbury Wolves received some bad news on the weekend as two more young Wolves’ players suffered injuries that will likely keep them out of the Wolves’ line-up for the remainder of the regular season. The newest injuries will bring the Wolves’ injury list up to 7 regular players.
BRODY SILK suffered an upper-body injury that will sideline the Iroquois Falls native for the next 3-4 weeks. SILK had just returned to the Wolves’ line-up after serving a 12 game suspension and was playing in his third game since returning to the line-up. The 17 year old forward has been an effective offensive player for the Wolves this season and his presence will be missed. SILK is expected to return to the Wolves’ line-up at some point in the OHL play-offs.
JEFF CORBETT is now out indefinitely after suffering a head-check in Sudbury on Friday against the Niagara IceDogs. The check resulted in a concussion which leaves the Uxbridge native on the sidelines indefinitely. CORBETT, 17, had just returned to the Wolves’ line-up on Wednesday after missing the last two months with an upper body injury.
Here is a complete up-to-date list of Wolves’ players on the Injury list as of today:
