Getting to Know – Nicholas Latinovich
In the 16th and final segment of ‘Getting to Know’, meet goaltender NICHOLAS LATINOVICH of the Mississauga Rebels. LATINOVICH has very good size, standing at 6’2” and 190lbs. He is a hybrid goaltender who has strong focus and good reflexes. He remains composed and has excellent lateral movement. The Maple, Ontario native is quick and really battles during a game. In 17 games last season, he recorded a record of 9 wins, 2 loses, 27 goals against and a 1.59 goals against average. Nicholas was selected by the Wolves in the 12th Round of the 2014 OHL Priority Selection.

Q: How would you describe your personality?
A: I would say that I was a very dedicated person with a good sense of humor.
Q: What do you like to do in your downtime?
A: I enjoy hanging out with my friends.
Q: What are you working on to prepare for the upcoming OHL season and how are you working on it?
A: Each week I am doing dry land training with a focus on core strength, on-ice instruction with Goalie Instructor Kain Tisi and I have weekly practices with other elite players and coaches in the area.
Q: Which NHL player do you model yourself after and why?
A: I model myself after Carey Price because he has solid mechanics and never gives up on the play.
