Colts Dominate
The Sudbury Wolves dropped a 7-1 decision to the improving Barrie Colts on Thursday night in Cow-town. The Colts have now won five games in a row.
The Colts held a 2-0 lead after the first period of play and 6-1 after the second period. The Colts chased starting goaltender Franky Palazzese at the five minute mark of the second period. Rookie goaltender Troy Timpano played 35 minutes and allowed 3 goals on 21 shots.
Dominik Kubalik scored the Wolves lone goal. Dominik Kahun assisted on the power play goal. The Colts were 4 for 8 with the man advantage while the Wolves were 1 for 6. The Wolves now lead the 8 game season series 2-1. The Wolves will now prepare for a two game homestand beginning Friday night against the North Bay Battalion and again on Sunday afternoon against the Niagara IceDogs.
