Campagna to LA
The Sudbury Wolves will have at least six players attending NHL camps when the team returns from Russia where they are participating in the World Club Jr. Championships. All six players will be attending NHL Rookie Camps and their performances will determine if they are advanced to the team’s main camp.
MATHEW CAMPAGNA is the latest Wolves’ player to be invited to a pro camp as the LOS ANGELES KINGS have extended an invitation to the Wolves’ top scorer. CAMPAGNA, 19, is expected to be one of the Wolves’ top performers this season as the Mississauga native continues to develop his offensive skills in Sudbury.
CAMPAGNA will be joined by DOMINIK KUBALIK who was drafted by the LA Kings in the 7th round of the 2013 NHL Draft. NICK BAPTISTE (Buffalo), BRODY SILK (Boston), KEVIN RAINE (Toronto) and FRANK PALAZZESE (Edmonton) round-out the Wolves’ players that have been confirmed so far by NHL teams.
