Wolves Roster Reduced to 22

(Greater Sudbury, ON) The Sudbury Wolves announce that they have reduced their roster to 22 players ahead of this Friday’s home game against the Niagara IceDogs.

Centre Hayden Simpson will join the Stouffville Spirit of the OJHL, while defenceman Joshua Hoover will join the Sudbury Cubs of the NOJHL.

“Every year, especially a year following COVID-19, it is very important that players play significant minutes in their development,” said Sudbury Wolves VP & General Manager Rob Papineau. “Our affiliation with the Sudbury Cubs and the Stouffville Spirit allow us the luxury of having these young players continue to develop in key roles on each of those teams.”

The Wolves roster now includes 13 forwards, 7 defencemen and two goalies.
