Wolves Host Battalion in Final Home Game of Regular Season
(Greater Sudbury, ON) The Sudbury Wolves will return to the Sudbury Community Arena this Friday as they host the North Bay Battalion in their last home game of the 2021-22 season at 7:05pm.
David Goyette continues to lead both the pack and the OHL rookies in scoring with 72 points in 64 games. Amongst these 72 points, Goyette has distinguished himself this season as the OHL’s leading rookie in goals with 32 and has become one of the top rookies in Wolves franchise history. David ranks 3rd amongst Wolves all-time Rookie leading goal scorers which is lead by Wolves’ Head Coach, Craig Duncanson who also sits 4th amongst Wolves Rookie top scorers with 76 points which David is just 4 points shy of match Craig’s rookie record.
Friday’s game is sponsored by Pure Country 91.7 who will be on hand with prizes for lucky fans.
Prior to Friday’s game, the Wolves will honour overage players Liam Ross, Mitchell Weeks, Dominik Jendek, and Kosta Manikis for their time with the Wolves and in the Ontario Hockey League. The Wolves will celebrate these overage players in a special pre-game ceremony.
Four-time Olympic medalist Rebecca Johnston will also be in attendance during the game and will be dropping the puck in a ceremonial puck drop celebrating Women’s Hockey. Rebecca will be available during the game above section 2 for autographs and photos.

Prior to Friday’s game the Wolves will hit the road Wednesday as they visit the Sault Ste. Marie Greyhounds. The road game is scheduled for puck drop at 7:07pm.
