Wolves and Otters Complete Trade
The Sudbury Wolves announced today that they have traded goaltender TROY TIMPANO to the Erie Otters in exchange for a 2nd Round draft pick in 2021, 3rd Round pick in 2020 and a 10th Round Pick in 2018.
“This was a transaction that took some time to transpire as discussions with Erie go back to early June,” noted Sudbury Wolves General Manager Barclay Branch. “Ultimately, Erie’s keen interest in Troy resulted in us being presented with an offer that we needed to give strong consideration.”
Timpano was drafted by the Wolves in the 2nd round of the 2013 OHL Priority Selection and played 93 games for the Wolves over three seasons.
The Sudbury Wolves would like to thank Troy for his years of service to the Wolves and wish him the best of luck in his new opportunity.
