Phillips Signs Entry-Level Deal With The Chicago Blackhawks
(Greater Sudbury, ON) The Sudbury Wolves are pleased to share the exciting news that came out of Chicago today, Wolves defenceman Isaak Phillips has signed a three-year entry-level contract that runs through the 2023-24 season.
“We are very happy and proud of Isaak. He has had a tremendous season in Rockford coming off two equally strong years with the Wolves,” said Sudbury Wolves VP and General Manager Rob Papineau.

On Oct. 7th, Phillips was selected 141st overall (5th round) by the Chicago Blackhawks in the 2020 NHL draft. Isaak Phillips, currently playing with the Blackhawks AHL affiliate team, the Rockford IceHogs. Through 14 games, he has found the scoresheet six times including two goals (2G, 4A). Phillips is tied for second on the IceHogs for most goals by a defenceman which sits at two.

The Barrie, ON native registered 26 points (9G, 17A) during the 2019-2020 season with the Sudbury Wolves and was 2nd on the team for points by a defenceman. Phillips has recorded 40 points in 131 games with the Wolves (12G, 28A).
