Aagaard Named to Team Denmark for World Championship

Mikkel Aagaard will suit up for Team Denmark at the 2016 World Championship in Russia beginning this weekend. The tournament opens Friday with Team Denmark getting underway on Saturday with their first match-up of the tournament. The tournament runs until May 22nd.

Aagaard completed his OHL career this season with the Wolves following a season and a half with the Niagara IceDogs. The Wolves acquire their leading scorer from the IceDogs in November, who went on to score 24 goals and add 29 assists for 53 points in 64 games during his overage campaign.

The Sudbury Wolves would like to wish Mikkel the best of luck in the tournament.
