Wawanesa OHL Plays of the Week: September 28, 2017
The 1st edition of the Wawanesa OHL Plays of the Week for the 2017-18 season feature a collection of the league’s Top-5 goals scored during #OHLOpeningWeek.
This week’s highlights open with a pair of creative individual efforts by Tye Felhaber in the Ottawa 67’s home opener win over the Erie Otters, and Luke Burghardt of the North Bay Battalion who completes the hat-trick and comeback against the Sudbury Wolves. The countdown continues with Jack Studnicka of the Oshawa Generals who capitalizes on a turnover then give-and-go, followed by a pair of Barrie Colts plays that both demonstrate tremendous teamwork. Lucas Chiodo and Ryan Suzuki connect on the first goal followed by the Russian trio of Kirill Nizhnikov, Alexei Lipanov, and Andrei Svechnikov who showcase some superb skill in this week’s top play.
