Tribune Hockey Pool Update
The race for first in the Guelph Tribune’s annual OHL Hockey Pool is close as always with Tanya Stanlick surging past mid-season leader Bob Piotto to grab top spot in the overall rankings.
Guelph Storm defenceman Garrett McFadden (pictured) leads all defenceman in the pool with 10 points in the month of January.
Stanlick’s team currently has 534 points giving her an 11 point cushion over a pair of contestants (Tom Hetherington and Taylor Redmond) who are tied for second place. (COMPLETE OVERALL STANDINGS BELOW)
Congratulations to Bob Piotto, who narrowly edged out Ross Thompson for the lead at the OHL’s Christmas break to win a prize valued at $100! Bob’s team finished the pre-Christmas schedule with 399 points to take first place by a single point! (COMPLETE PRE-CHRISTMAS STANDINGS BELOW)
Heading into the final week of action in January, Harley Moco is in first place with 137 points in the month. Close behind in second spot is Manny Malatches with 134 points. (COMPLETE JANUARY STANDINGS BELOW)
