Storm set to battle Whalers in pre-season action Friday
The Storm are set to host the Plymouth Whalers in pre-season action tonight at the Sleeman Centre, exactly two weeks prior to the 2014-15 Home Opener vs. Belleville on September 26th.
With eight roster players off at NHL camps, tonight’s game offers a chance for some younger players to make an impression on fans and management.
Recently signed 1998-born prospects Levi Tetrault and Luke Burghardt are both expected to make their pre-season debuts this evening. They join forward Matthew Hotchkiss as players in tonight’s lineup that joined the Storm organization through the 2014 OHL Priority Selection.
Making his home pre-season debut is forward Jesse Hilton, who signed with the Storm as a free agent during Training Camp. The Stoney Creek native turned an impressive camp performance into an opportunity with the Storm after playing last season with the Blyth Academy Bruins (Burlington).
Tickets for tonight’s game are available at the Storm Box Office for just $10. Printed rosters will be available inside Gate 6, or in printable versions below:
