Storm select 11 through first 10 rounds
With five picks left in the 2014 OHL Priority Selection, Storm General Manager Mike Kelly and his scouting staff could take a breather during the break that follows the 10th round.
With their first pick in the draft, the Storm chose centreman Matthew Hotchkiss from the Whitby Wildcats. The smooth skating pivot finished his season with 53 points in 35 regular season games and then added 5 points in 5 OHL Cup contests.
Without a choice in the second round, Guelph picked Oakville native Evan Brown with the 60th pick of the day.
In total, Kelly and the Storm have grabbed seven forwards and four defencemen through the first ten rounds.
