A handful of afternoon games on Monday extended the week for teams in the Canadian Hockey League. With the season now well underway, we’re seeing the emergence of some highly-touted players, such as Kitchener’s Jeremy Morin who joined the Rangers from the US Hockey National Team Development Program (USNTDP) this season.

Hot team: Guelph Storm
The competition in the Midwest Division just got a little tougher with the emergence of the Storm. Guelph has won its last four games, beating the previously undefeated Sault Ste. Marie Greyhounds on Friday. Guelph has plenty of firepower offensively and has received stellar goaltending from the duo of Matt Hoyle and Cody St. Jacques (pictured).
