Storm award winners recognized
The Guelph Storm wrapped up the 2012-13 season on Sunday afternoon at the Delta Hotel as the year-end awards were handed out.
Ryan Horvat was the big winner taking home three different awards including the Roger Neilson Memorial Award, Mike Kelly Humanitarian and the Fay Scott Memorial Award.
Cody McNaughton was recognized by the fans for his five years with the team winning the Fan Favourite award
Other awards given out on Sunday include the Top Scorer, the Owens Corning ‘Playmaker Trophy’ and the Academic Achievement awards. The First year players were also recognized by the team with a plaque that included their first goal puck.
The MVP, Top Defenceman, Rookie of the Year, Leadership Award as well as some others will be awarded at the conclusion of the Storm playoff run.
