Storm acquire Foss from Spitfires

GUELPH, ON — Storm General Manager Mike Kelly announced Wednesday that the club has acquired forward Ryan Foss from the Windsor Spitfires, in exchange for a 5th round pick in the 2018 OHL Priority Selection.

In 29 games with the Spitfires this season, the Oakville native posted five goals and one assist. 

“We feel that Ryan can come in to help our secondary scoring,” said Kelly.  “Due to injuries, he has an opportunity to play in a top six role with our team.”

Last season, Foss posted 32 points in 58 games with the Spitfires, including his first OHL hat trick on January 18 at Plymouth.

Foss will make his Storm debut this Friday as the Storm host the Mississauga Steelheads.

The 2014-15 season is presented by RBC Play Hockey.
