No trade clauses everywhere

As hockey stories go, it’s a personal favourite, and in light of the recent OHL trade deadline, it once again seems relevant.
The way Guelph Platers owner Joe Holody told it, he was sitting in his office one training camp years ago. Across from him were two player agents whose charges had just joined the team as high draft picks.
Remember, this was a time when agents were a relatively new thing to junior hockey. Joe, though, was not new to junior hockey.
The agents spent some time telling Joe what concessions they would like for Player A and Player B — education packages, no-trade contracts etc., etc.
After listening to them in silence for a few minutes, Holody picked up the phone and called down to the trainer’s room.
“Tell Player A and Player B to pack their bags because I’m sending them home. And if they want to know why, tell them to ask their (expletive deleted) agents!”
