Game Preview: Guelph Storm @ Owen Sound Attack
The Storm are back in action for the second time this weekend as they take on the Attack in Owen Sound. The puck drops at 7:30.
The Storm are coming off a tough 3-2 loss Friday night to the Windsor Spitfires. Guelph’s record is now 19-11-2-1 which has them still in 5th place in the conference standings. In the season series against the Attack the Storm are 2-1-0-1 and in the most recent game between the two teams Guelph lost 3-2 in a shootout. The Storm in their last 5 games are 1-4 and will be looking to get back to winning hockey games tonight in Owen Sound.
The Owen Sound Attack are also playing their second game of the weekend after a win last night. The Attack went to Kitchener last night to take on the Rangers and went home with a 5-2 win. Guelph Storm – Cam Allen
Allen in his first OHL season has played a big role in the team’s defence. Over his 30 games played this season he’s scored 5 goals and tallied 8 assists for a total of 13 points. He’s the player to watch on the Storm tonight as they face off against the Attack.
Owen Sound Attack – Deni Goure
Goure has been a huge part to the Attack’s offensive success where he has totalled 35 points in 34 games played. With 16 goals and 19 assists in those 34 games Goure leads the team in points, goals, and assists. Watch out for him tonight as the Storm take on the Owen Sound Attack.
