D’Agostini now a Devil

Former Storm winger Matt D’Agostini will be joining his third NHL team after the St. Louis Blues traded him to the New Jersey Devils on Friday.  D’Agostini will join his former Storm Head Coach Dave Barr in New Jersey.  Barr is an assistant coach with the defending Eastern Conference champions.

By The Sports Xchange – The New Jersey Devils picked up forward Matt D’Agostini on Friday in a deal with the St. Louis Blues for a conditional draft pick in 2015.

D’Agostini has one goal this season, playing 12 minutes per game, after scoring 21 two years ago and eight last season. In 254 career regular-season games, D’Agostini has 45 goals, 46 assists and 115 penalty minutes.

D’Agostini becomes a restricted free agent after this season and the Blues’ compensatory draft pick depends on whether or not the Devils sign or qualify him.
