Confidence blooming for rejuvenated Storm

A well-earned 4-1 victory over the Sarnia Sting Friday night at the Sleeman Centre was the team’s third win in its past four games.
Last in the conference standings at this time this week, they now find themselves tied for seventh.
While coach Jason Brooks is obviously thrilled with the turnaround, he was trying to keep it in perspective after Friday’s win.
“We had our downs, now we’re going to build on our successes,” Brooks said. “Slowly but surely, we want to get better. We’re not going to get too high.”
With so many games in such a short period of time, Brooks is giving plenty of ice time to the third and fourth lines and they have responded with solid efforts the past few games.
Reeking of confidence, the Storm totally outplayed the Sting Friday. They outworked, outhit, outshot and outscored the visitors.
